Three key events feature in an action line up at the Powerbuilt Tools International Raceway over the summer.

Christchurch Casino Wigram Revival October 29th, 30th and 31st 2010
With the Earthquake causing the false start to our round of the South Island 3 Hour Endurance, motorsport enthusiasts now look forward with eager anticipation to the Christchurch Casino Wigram Revival Meeting later this month, the first major promoted meeting of the Motorsport season. This meeting will feature the F5000's Historic V8 Wings and Slicks single seaters racing for the Lady Wigram Trophy along with the Placemakers Frame and Truss Historic Saloon Cars consisting of Group A and Production cars from the eighties, Classic and Historic Saloons of the 60's and 70's, Formula Libre single seaters up to 2500cc, OSCA, Pre 65, a mighty Mini class plus a Super Bike grid from 1980 on will ensure plenty of interest for spectators who can look forward to a great start to the season.

The BNT V8's November 26th, 27th and 28th 2010
A month later the BNT V8s roll into town for the annual Ford versus Holden battle and what is undoubtedly the highlight on the motorsport calendar for many fans. Supported for the first time by the Enzed V8 Utes, The Porsche GT3's, Suzuki Sport cup, Formula Ford Championship and Production racing will round out the balance of the programme but a special treat is in store for those interested in endurance racing. The Earthquake affected South Island Endurance round has been slotted in to run as a twilight race on the Saturday evening and will give all the opportunity to observe first hand the highs and lows of a longer format race. Something for everyone, from the big names, Craig Baird, Johnnie Mac, Andy Booth, Angus Fogg to the young up and comers trying to make their way in an ultra competitive motorsport environment. Local hopes rest with fast Eddie Bell who edged into the shakers and movers category with his United Fisheries Falcon last season.
