Nature continues to interrupt South Island Endurance Series

Photo: ASKO Endurance Series

The forces of nature have again disrupted the ASKO Appliances South Island Endurance Series. The opening round of the series scheduled for Powerbuilt Ruapuna in Christchurch on  4th September had to be rescheduled after the Canterbury earthquake and today’s second round scheduled for Teretonga Park in Invercargill was called off this morning after one of the heaviest snowfalls in the south for many years.

The Christchurch round has already been rescheduled to November 27th while no decision has yet been made on any possible rescheduling of the Teretonga round.

Competitors will now head for Timaru International Motor Raceway on Saturday 2 October for the next scheduled round of the series.
