Heimgartner extends lead in Formula Ford Championship

Aucklander Andre Heimgartner has extended his lend in the 2012 NZ Formula Ford Championship after the fourth round at Hampton Downs during the weekend.

Heimgartner won two of the three races with Brent Allen winning the third.

The top three on the points table going into the round remain unchanged with Heimgartner on 855 points followed by Michael Scott (Te Puke) on 742 with Southland’s Brendon Leitch on 626.

The fifth and final round is this coming weekend as part of the support classes to the NZ Grand Prix meeting at Manfeild Park, Fielding.
