Heartbreak for Heimgartner and co. at Hampton Downs 12 Hour

Engine failure in the last 15 minutes of the Hampton 12 Hour has thwarted the efforts the Porsche RSR team of Andre Heimgartner, Glen Smith, John Goodacre and Matt Kingsley while leading the race(573 laps).  This has handed the win to the Australian combination of Malcolm and Brent Niall and Clint Harvey (550 laps)


Second was the Porsche driven by Phil Hood, Jeff Lowrey, David Glasson and Bruce Stewart while the Seat . The Seat Leon Supercopa driven by Jeff Watts, Simon Piavanini and Mark Pilatti finished third.
