Cars of the MSC Tasman Revival F5000 Series
A stunning looking car in its day, the Singapore Airlines sponsored ex Graeme Lawrence Lola T332 still has the ability to make you stop and stare.
First raced by Graeme Lawrence during the Tasman Series in 1974, it debuted at the Levin round in January of that year. Lawrence won the 1974 Gold Star championship and went on to place seconded in the 1975 Tasman Series.
After competing in the series in 1976 it went on to compete in the domestic Australian championships by it’s new owner Terry Hook. It then returned to New Zealand in the mid 1990’2 where it was restored and briefly raced in historic events before being placed in a museum in 1996.
Murray Sinclair recomissioned the car in 2001 and it raced in historic F5000 events around Europe in 2002. Since then the car has raced in the Tasman Revival series in NZ and Australia as well as a trip to Europe in 2005.
Current owner driver Russel Greer bought the car in 2007 and continues to race here in NZ and Austrlia.
