PRS regulations to stay the same

bc_MC9E1585_Rollinson_1.jpg

After a lot of late discussion between Production Racing Series (PRS) and Motorsport New Zealand officials about the possibility of late rule changes, the PRS executive is pleased to report that there will be no late changes and that the technical regulations as published back in April will stand for the coming season.

The PRS executive sees this as an extremely positive move for the category and this means that the class can move forward with certainty into the new summer season. Despite speculation the April technical regulations stand.

The classes are: 0-1600cc 2 wheel drive naturally aspirated; 1601cc – 2 litre two wheel drive naturally aspirated; 2001cc and over two or four wheel drive naturally aspirated; 0 – 2.5 litre 2 wheel drive turbo charged; 0 – 2 litre four wheel drive turbo charged.

A lot of work has been put in order to try and ensure that as many different makes and models have the chance to be competitive within their respective class.
